Jan Marnocha

Yoga Teachers 2026

Jan brings over 23 years of experience in yoga and mindfulness. Her classes foster curiosity, flexible thinking, and humor to support well-being and create a welcoming environment for exploration. She emphasizes the importance of giving yourself grace with your abilities each day, which she considers the true magic of yoga. She views yoga as a ‘work in’ rather than a workout. She also incorporates QiGong, an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, breathing, and meditation to cultivate and balance vital energy, to help unify her classes. Jan is currently subbing at Plover Yoga and the Stevens Point YMCA. She is an E-RYT 200 (currently working on her 500 hr) as well as a graduate of the Mindful Schools Year-Long and the MBSR-Teens program. Additionally, she works as a Mindfulness Coach for The Kindness Project, a non-profit that supports early childhood educators, students, and families in learning about kindness, empathy, and compassion through mindfulness-based practices and The Kindness Curriculum (Center for Healthy Minds, UW-Madison).

Join Jan for QiGong and Gentle Yoga for the Year of the Fire Horse in theĀ Constellation tent at 10:00 am.
