Ground down to rise up! Root to Rise is a soulful, all-levels vinyasa flow designed to reconnect you with the steady strength of the earth while awakening the energy within. This class weaves together strength, softness, and spaciousness, leaving you feeling both rooted and radiant. Come as you are, move how you feel, and rise in your own way.
10:00 am QiGong and Gentle Yoga for the Year of the Fire Horse with Jan Marnocha
Experience a unique practice in this all-levels class that combines Qigong and yoga. Qigong, which means "cultivating life energy," encourages the flow of qi (life force) through gentle, flowing movements and synchronous breath. We’ll start with a Qigong series and transition into a gentle yoga flow designed to create body awareness and flexibility. This is the Year of the Fire Horse. The year's intensity may tempt you to push too hard, leading to exhaustion. Qigong helps you maintain a steady, sustainable pace (riding the horse rather than being run over) by balancing the fiery, upward energy with grounded, restorative movement. Both practices help reduce tension, promote relaxation and an overall sense of peace.

12:30 pm Yoga for Golfers with Jim Crane
Golfers take lessons all the time—working on a better backswing, improved setup, or fine-tuning their mechanics. But what happens when the body does not cooperate with the lessons being taught? If you watch golfers on a driving range, you can often see what is happening in their bodies. Tight muscles may limit rotation, weak muscles may force the arms to do more of the work, and poor balance can affect consistency throughout the swing. The body always adapts to how it is used, which is why movement, strength, mobility, and breathing become so important as we age. In this class, we will use the golf club as a tool to improve strength, balance, mobility, posture, and breathing. The goal is not only to support a more comfortable and effective golf swing, but also to help participants move with greater ease both on and off the course. Whether you are trying to improve your game or simply enjoy being outside on the course and smelling the fresh-cut grass, this class is designed to help you prepare your body for a better golfing experience. (Please bring along a golf club, putter preferred, if possible.)
