With 27 years of practice and 23 years of teaching, Lisa brings a depth of experience and an eye for alignment. Growing up with ADHD and dyslexia, she thought that was just her lot in life. She discovered yoga and meditation were pathways to presence, mindfulness, effortless stillness, and a body that feels strong, stable, and capable. This transformative experience became her life’s work. She founded Rejuvenate with Yoga in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, where she has built a welcoming community for students of all backgrounds, ages and abilities. She holds an E-RYT500 and YACEP designation through Yoga Alliance. Her teaching is rooted in alignment-based Hatha Yoga with an Iyengar-adjacent approach. She graduated from The Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago. Since then, she has studied extensively with teachers like Kim Schwartz and Doug Keller in the field of Yoga Therapy. Her deep love of anatomy informs everything she teaches. Drawing on all eight limbs of yoga, she invites students to put on their science hat and really study the body they currently inhabit. She helps them recognize the patterns and biases held in their bodies. We then find balance in a way that extends well beyond the mat and into everyday life. Her classes are thoughtful, anatomically informed, and infused with genuine joy for the practice.
